”Global Technology Development" is a knowledge-based global competence and shared service set-up in the Aalborg Industries organization responsible for development of green technologies and product development. The function is tasked with coordinating and managing the R&D competences of the Aalborg Industries Group.
”Global Technology Development” is managed from the headquarters in Aalborg.
Shared knowledge and practices
While Aalborg Industries’ six global business areas each develop, retain and accumulate expert know-how and engineering capabilities, the Global Technology Development function is responsible for sharing technical know how and mapping of technical competences in the global organization in order to accomplish an overall optimal use of resources, establishment of best practices, equally high quality level for all products and services and use of best available technologies and know-how across business areas. The function aims to exploit potential technical synergies to render fast, high-quality service to the organization and thus to our customers.

To support the system design, technical competences at a high level within safety, controls, combustion, materials and thermo mechanics are required.
