Global Manufacturing organization
The Global Manufacturing organization setting and coordinating the manufacturing strategy of the manufacturing units in the group is located in Aalborg, Denmark. The organization, which is a vital part of the Group's supply chain, is responsible for securing a uniform, comparable high quality level in the products, a dependable high level of delivery accuracy and a competitive price level in the manufacturing.
Our own factories
In order to secure a uniform, well defined, high quality level of all Aalborg Industries products, Aalborg Industries has chosen to be in control of the manufacturing processes for the key components in the products by having its own factories. The same uncompromisingly high quality level is maintained at all the Group's four factories.
Keeping its own factories also gives Aalborg Industries full control of manufacturing capacity and cost effectiveness, securing that the necessary capacity is available where and whenever it is required to guarantee delivery on time and counteracting vulnerability to local manufacturing disruptions.
Quality standards
All Aalborg Industries factories (except Hai Phong) are certified according to ISO 9001:2000 and several other quality codes, especially related to marine business areas. Aalborg Industries factories are capable of supplying to the quality levels and standards set out by all internationally recognized classification societies in their respective markets.
A safe working environment is a priority in the Aalborg Industries factories as is the policy to secure a high standard of protection against pollution of the environment.
Outsourcing
The Global Manufacturing organization stipulates the criteria which any external supplier to the manufacturing units must meet to become a supplier to or strategic partner of the Aalborg Industries Group.
