Aalborg Industries – the world's leading supplier of marine boilers – is looking for a strong technical order manager to join our sales team in Aalborg. The team covers sales and project management of new marine boilers in different market segments globally. You will join a dynamic and flexible team working with complex projects and challenging tasks focusing on customer satisfaction in an international oriented organisation.

Your challenges and tasks
You will be order manager for complex orders, where we have sold customerized products. As order manager you will be responsible for completion of these orders in time and to ensure customer satisfaction, of course while staying within the budget limits. Your primary tasks will be:

 

  • Responsible for the delivery extend, both technically and commercially
  • Communication with other manufacturers forming a part of the system, our customers and internally in our organization
  • Ensuring meeting deadlines external and internal
  • Follow up on the economies of the projects
  • Technical support, external and internal


The position includes limited travelling activities and it is important that you are flexible and comfortable in an international environment.

Your competences and profile
You have an education as Mechanical Engineer (BSc), Marine Engineer or similar and it will be an advantage if you have experience within project management. Because of the complexity of the products and to ensure the best support both internal and external it is important that you are technical strong and preferably have worked in a similar job for some years. Your communication skills in English, spoken and written, must be at a high level.

It is important that you are structured and persistent in meeting deadlines and take pride in completing the orders in accordance with the budget and to the customers’ satisfaction. You will handle different tasks at different levels and must therefore have a good overview.
