| Generators with a capacity of normally 500 m3/h are applied on Crude Oil carriers, both for topping-up purposes during the voyage and for inerting slop and ballast tanks. The SMIT GAS TU topping-up gas generator fits with any flue gas system onboard new and existing vessels. |

Topping-up generators are generally used in combination with a Fluegas System on board of Crude Oil tankers and Product tankers. When flue gas is not available and cargo tanks require some inert gas, the topping-up generator is used. |
